I’m sorry I don’t post here often. I thought I might post my take on the challenge (yes, for once, I’m early and not so unfashionably late ! )
So here it is (if someone would be slightly less computer challenged and post it here, I guess that would be great).
Oh, and just in case you can not read the journaling (not because it is too small but because my script is that of a 3-year-old ;-D ) :
“Yes, they are everywhere. They lurk for new victims. Like octopusses, they won’t let go once they’ve caught one. They start by giving you a small dose, and tell you you must use it everyday….And little by little the world is all blurred without your daily dose of glasses. Doesn’t it make you shudder to think they let them free on the street, near your kids’ school ? ”
Hmm, well, that’s just the most frequent of my paranoïd theories…
Hélène! What a cool idea! I love how you’ve used the (I think they are zingboom, right?) octopus idea and the stamped text looks really cool.
I have to agree with you about the theory–I remember reading about an optomitrist who would have his patients do exercises with their eyes and were able to completely recover their vision without the use of glasses, and said that glasses do nothing but “make the eyes lazy” and that’s the whole problem. I wonder about the surgery people are now getting that also restores their clear vision…seems like it’s doing the trick for many. Hmmmm!
ps. do the swap with us!! it will be fun!!
